Our volunteers serve 1000’s of families every year with biblical approaches, practical tools, and resources aimed at helping stepmoms relate to family members in transformative ways, and glorify God while building bonds over time.

Join the Stepmom Sanity intercessory team once a month for prayer for the women we are privileged to serve, their marriages and families, our team, vision and direction. Provide additional prayer coverage prior to and during scheduled events.

Assist the event coordinator in vetting and securing venues, choosing menus, researching vendors, and communicating with speakers, administrative tasks as reasonably assigned by the event coordinator.

Well-organized, stellar Communication skills and attention to detail, problem solving and conflict resolution skills, proficient in MS Office. Lots of enthusiasm.

One – Attend 6-hour training, sign mentor contract, Contact mentee twice a month, (mentors can be assigned as many mentees as they would like up to 4) and monthly mentor meeting and prayer with Cheryl
Use biblical approaches, and practical tools to provide guidance, advice, feedback and support to the mentee, empower mentees to resolve and pray through difficulties. Serve as role model, prayer partner, and ally. Refer mentees to therapist when faced with issues requiring therapeutic intervention.

Willingness to provide support within limits. Knowledge of one’s boundaries and ability to set limits with others. Ability to encourage mentee to discover and use own God-given strengths, Ability to point mentee towards Christ as their source of strength, help, and hope, Complete training, must be married for at least 10 years

3 - one-hour training sessions with Cheryl, 2 hours per week for 7 weeks during Spring and/or Fall.

Our main goal is to make disciples of Jesus Christ. Our Bible Studies are used to support the formation of Christlikeness in the ladies we serve. As a facilitator you will: promote a collaborative and safe environment for small group discussion. Use the resources provided to guide discussion. Ask intentional questions. Prepare for each week's discussion. Complete questions in study guides for each week. Strategically offer opportunities for 100% participation. Allow Scripture to interpret scripture.
